John V. Rider

John V. Rider, PhD, BCPR, BCG, OTR/L, MSCS, ATP, is an Associate Professor in the Communication Disorders and Occupational Therapy department at the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Fayetteville, AR, USA. He is an active educator, researcher, and clinician. He currently works as a community-based occupational therapist. He is passionate about occupational therapy and interested in exploring the role of parenting among diverse populations, especially parents living with chronic conditions, and identifying ways for occupational therapy practitioners to better support parenting occupations.
